3 Ways To Practise Simple Mindfulness Everyday


In this hustling world that we live in today, it is important that we take great care of our mental space and well-being. Taking time off to be present for yourself is key to achieving that. In this post, we will be sharing how a simple activity like stacking of these pebbles can also teach us important life lessons. 

1. Keep Trying

In life, we have to balance many roles that we play, and the responsibilities that come with it. Just like these pebbles, in order to form the highest pebble structure, we first have to balance them. We need to have a strong foundation.

We do not always get it at first try. Our advice: keep trying and you will eventually get it. These pebbles tell you so. 

2. Be Acquainted with Failures

It teaches us that it is OK to fail because what is the worst that could happen? You form a beautiful structure. And you might just fall in love with the sounds of the falling pebbles when they knock into one another. 

Stacking these pebbles gives us the courage to simply try again when things are not going our way. And when you get tired of trying? - you stop, rest, then do it again. We need to constantly remind ourselves that managing failures and problems is as straightforward as a pebble stack - one pebble at a time.  

3. Be Present

Let your imaginative flow as you acknowledge your feelings and stack with it. Only when you are present, can you fully appreciate the luxury of space and time you have to breathe and relax.
